Especially in these tough economic times, keep up your friends and contacts. People over use the word “networking” when they think about developing contacts and finding job information. But networking is more than that. It is all about you trying to help other people. If that is happening, then you have a network that is there when you need help. Wherever you are, you are two steps ahead of someone else, so give them a hand.
