Mary Kelly — Nationally-Recognized Motivational Speaker
and Expert on Leadership, Management and Communications

Listen to what Mary’s audiences have to say!

“Mary Kelly was a fabulous keynote speaker for the W2W Mentor Mingle.  Not only did she address why women need to help other women, but she brought it down to how individuals in the audience have helped her.  She leads by example!”
Anne Wamser, Founder of Woman to Woman Mentoring

“Thank you so much for a wonderful keynote at our Annual Conference.  Your 20 years of active duty in intelligence with the Navy really caught the audience’s attention, and set exactly the right tone, and while you were wonderfully entertaining, the substance and leaning of your message was very enlightening and informative.
We personally appreciated your very high standard of professionalism.  You were a pleasure to work with.  As people who hire and work with a number of professional speakers every year, we found your preparation and professional approach to be very reassuring and pleasant.
Thank again for your great contribution to the success of our meeting.  We hope we can work together again.“

“It was with great delight that I introduced my friend and one of my super heroes, Mary Kelly, to EWI during the November meeting.  When Mary arrived in Colorado Springs, I knew that I had found one of those forever friends.  You know; one of those friends that challenges you and encourages you all in the same breadth; one of those friends that you have synchronicity with.  The fact that she was brilliant and fun, was a bonus, if I do say so myself.
Although in her presentation to EWI in November on “15 Ways to Grow Your Business in Every Economy” Mary covered 15 brilliant ways to grow your business, there were two that hit me the hardest.
I have to agree with Mary that the economic stress (i.e. what others call the recession) we have undergone in the last several years has the potential of leading to a wave of business innovation.   It is a matter of awareness, focus and commitment.  Sometimes we have to be hungry before we can dig down deep enough to get the motivation to think outside the box and take action.  The economic challenge of recent years allowed many of those in business to dig deep to improve productivity and increase customer value.  The 2 Rs that Mary identified for us were Re-evaluate, Re-design and Refine products, processes, and business models.  If this recession hasn’t created URGENCY in your to make lasting, substantive, progressive changes, it is not too late.
As Mary said you have to ACT and TRAIN Like a Professional Athlete.  What do professional athletes do to improve?  Coach, Training camp, Solicit honest feedback, Focus and Strive for the medal.
If you haven’t read Mary’s latest book 15 Ways to Grow Your Business in Every Economy,” you can go to her website and order it there along with her other books which are such fun but meaningful reads that they make perfect holiday gifts for that person that you just can’t decide what to give.”

”As Vice President of the Colorado Springs Black Chamber of Commerce, I thank you for the informative presentation on Social Media Networking last week at UCCS.  Social Media Networking is a tool many business owners and non-profit organizations are reluctant to learn or use.  Mary, your professional, yet down to earth and humorous demeanor, created a relaxed but educational atmosphere for the audience to listen and learn.  I look forward to working with both of you in the future.
Mary Kelly makes work important and fun. As a seasoned seminar speaker and teacher, she knows how to teach to all levels of an organization. Entertaining, funny and energetic, Mary is also flexible and accommodating.”

”Commander Mary Kelly and I served together at Pearl Harbor in the mid-1990′s. The region was undergoing consolidation and leadership was key to making it happen successfully. Mary Kelly supplied much of that leadership. With many people wringing their hands in despair, Commander Kelly championed a ‘CAN DO’ attitude that was sorely needed. She i nspired people to accept the coming changes and made them feel good about their efforts and roles. I followed her career after Pearl Harbor and she continued to exhibit strong leadership. Ms. Kelly has brought her winning ways into he r civilian career. I would be delighted to work with her again.”
          Bill Rigby, PE VP
BE&K Government Group / Chief of Staff, Navy Region Hawaii
